Pre Paid Credit Cards

Stored value cards doesn’t sound very controversial, they are basically gift cards or prepaid credit cards. Why would these be the preferred method of payment for criminals or terrorists? Loopholes in United States law could be to blame.

What is the Best Pre-Paid Credit Card/Visa/Master ? In Ontario? or Canada ?

That can Be used online ? and has no monthly fee or any BS attached to it ?

I’m not sure if they are available in your area of the world, but I would recommend a Mio Reloadable Debit Card or Wal-Mart Money Card. I know Wal-Mart has located in Canada and I’m sure some of them sell the prepaid cards for your area.

I believe they do charge a small fee once a month, it isn’t more than $4.00 though. Well worth it, considering some cards charge a fee per transaction!

Well after a little more research I have found the only way to buy things off ebay at my age of 16 is to buy a prepaid credit card which is avalible to those under 18..apparently. Now do you guys know what banks have these? Do all of them have it or..I’m a T.D Bank not sure if they do?
And does anyone know if i can have access to prepaid credit cards at my age?

Yes, you can purchase them. Any place like Krogers, Wal Mart, ect… sell pre paid credit cards. They are located with the gift cards (examples… olive garden, adidas, bed bath & beyond, amazon, ect..), usually on an end-of-aisle display, near the registers. There is usually a small fee (around $5), plus the amount you wish to put on the card, of course.
As for the banks, they probably vary.

I have a pre-paid visa card (the ones you get from Wal*Mart), and I need to know if I can pull cash off of it.

Like, if I go to Wal*Mart, can I hand them the card and they subtract money from the total on the card and give me whatever they subtract in cash?
They work on ATM’s too?

of course you can as long as you have money on this card. or you can go to an atm machine and draw out money for a fee.

You can also have a PayPal account with just a credit card so you don’t even have to provide access to a bank account.

You can get them at any grocery store like Safeway or Fred Meyer, even stores like Wal-Mart have them for sale.

Usually they have them in amounts of 10,15,25 or 50 dollars

A 3D secure visa card is not a pre paid card. It is just like any other visa card except the owner has registered a "pin number" to type in when purchasing items online.

You need to go to your card issuer to register it as 3d secure.
