Is there a store I can get one? Not one of those Gift Certificate cards.

Walmart. You can pay at walmart and use it as a credit card. Its called a pre paid credit card

Where would i buy one of those pre-paid gift cards, like the visas and things. I was looking to buy something online and im tired of using my moms card.

Where would i go about getting one of these?
I know i can get them at the bank, but is there anywhere else?
also, this card doesnt come from the bank or anything correct? i can only spend what i put on it myself right?

Does it work Exactly like a credit card on all internet websites or is it restricted to just stores and some internet websites? I think you know what I’m talking about, a pre-paid credit card.

I’m going to Florida next week and my parents think it would be a good idea to get one of those reloadable credit cards like the ones you get at wal-mart or giant eagle or any gift card place. The thing is i haven’t the first idea on anything of this subject. Any advice?????
What about the green dot card ( i think thats what its called)? i always see commercials on that. also, since its not an account you don’t have to be a certain age to sign when you buy something right?

Most times those reloadable cards require you to be 18, however there are cards out there if you’re under 18 as well. The lowest age you would have to be would be 13. I posted links to some of the cards that you’re talking about.

I’m 14 and I’m trying to buy my parents an anniversary gift. I have this one gift thats perfect, but its only sold online. How can I buy it without a credit card.

talk to your grandparents and see if they will order it for you.
If they are not close or if that is not possible see if you can ask your best friends parents
as a last resort maybe a school counselor or a coach can help.
If your parents have a trusted neighbor that might also be an option.

If all of that fails, print the picture of the thing you wanted to get them and put it in the card along with the money and let them know that you were thinking of them but it was impossible to get. Be sure that they date is on the printout so they know that youdidnt wait until the last minute to think about them. I think that they are lucky to have such a thoughtful child and will be touched by what was in your heart.

If they do, Where can I buy one at? Can I put ABOUT 750 Bucks on one? Can I use them on the internet at Best Buy.com to buy a laptop??

Yeah, you can get them. Try the grocery store, they keep those with the calling cards. You can add cash to them and use them anywhere they except visa, mc. ect.

I was wondering if I wanted to purchase some things online or get a movie from one of those red box things could I purchase one of those like $50/$25 (any amount) pre paid visa cards you see at like gas stations, and they would work just the same as a credit card?

yea they work online you put it in as a credit card. look on the case sort of thing that it came in for instructions how to redeem it on the visa website before you checkout online

Prepaid credit cards are VERY useful. They are used just like any other credit card. As far as the store clerk knows – it is a regular card.

Each prepaid card offer is different but basically, you apply for the card (typically no credit check and 100% guaranteed approval), load it with whatever amount you can (up to the allowable amount), then use it like a normal credit card. Once you start getting low, you refill it and keep going.

The previous comments about fees are somewhat true. (You can get cards with lower fees if you know to look for lower fees.) Here is a good place to start…
